An exhibition honouring women of herstory and raising funds for women continuing the fight for gender equality in Cambodia and Nepal. An initiative of The Global Women’s Project, Trailblazing Women of Herstory is a fundraising art exhibition where herstory and art collides to create positive change for gender equality. The exhibition runs during the global 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign.
Tucked away in a light-filled warehouse gallery (Neo Space Gallery) in the backstreets of Melbourne, find yourself immersed in an exhibition that celebrates the vibrant contributions of visionary women. Women who rejected stereotypes. Women determined to live their lives on equal terms to men. Women who sacrificed. Who lived and loved fiercely. Women who paved the way so that we may follow their lead. Women who blazed the trail. Artworks will be sold or auctioned to raise money for The Global Women’s Project – a Melbourne-based nonprofit organisation supporting women leading grassroots change in some of the most disadvantaged communities in the world.
